Cookie Notice

Effective date: 16 July 2026. 1. What cookies and browser storage are Cookies are small pieces of information stored by a website in the user’s browser. localStorage and sessionStorage mechanisms may serve a similar function. The Lech Forge website uses only solutions needed for the website to function, to secure forms, to maintain sessions, and to remember that selected notices have been displayed. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, marketing cookies, or behavioural trackers. 2. Mechanisms used Session cookie, e.g. “lech-forge-session” - purpose: maintaining the session, handling forms, and proper operation of the website or panel, - nature: essential, - duration: until the end of the session or expiry in accordance with the application configuration. CSRF/XSRF cookie, e.g. “XSRF-TOKEN” - purpose: protecting forms and requests against impersonation of the user, - nature: essential, - duration: until the end of the session or expiry in accordance with the application configuration. “remember me” cookie - purpose: optional remembering of administrator login, - scope: administrator panel only; it is not used for visitors to the public website, - duration: until logout, deletion of browser data, or expiry as set in the panel configuration. localStorage “lf_cookies_accepted” - purpose: remembering that the user has read and accepted the cookie information notice, - scope: not used for analytics or tracking, - duration: until the user deletes site data or the value is replaced by the website. sessionStorage “lf_locale_notice_seen” - purpose: remembering, for the current session, that the machine-translation notice has been displayed, - scope: not used for analytics or tracking, - duration: until the end of the tab or browser session. The website language is stored in the URL, for example /pl, /de or /ja. The website does not use a cookie to store language preference. 3. Cloudflare Turnstile The contact form and mini-chat may use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect against bots and automated spam. The browser receives a verification token, which is then checked by the server using the Cloudflare service. As part of this verification, Cloudflare may process technical data, including the token and the IP address. Turnstile is not used by Lech Forge for advertising, marketing analytics, or user profiling. 4. Whether consent is required Essential cookies and other technical mechanisms may operate without separate consent, because they are needed for data transmission, securing forms, or providing a function expressly requested by the user. Clicking the “Accept” button in the cookie banner confirms that the information has been read and causes the key “lf_cookies_accepted” to be stored in localStorage. It does not constitute consent to analytics or marketing, because such mechanisms are not used. 5. Managing cookies Cookies and localStorage and sessionStorage data can be deleted in the browser settings. It is also possible to block cookies; however, disabling essential mechanisms may cause problems with the contact form, mini-chat, login, or session security. 6.
