Mini-Chat Terms of Use
Notice: the text below is a machine translation prepared from the Polish original. It may contain inaccuracies or unintentional errors and does not constitute a binding version of the document. For legal and data-protection matters, only the original Polish text shall prevail.
Effective date: 16 July 2026.
1. Basic information
1. The private mini-chat is provided by Szymon Tomasz Lech conducting business under the name Lech Forge, NIP: 5223331943, address: ul. Masztowa 13, 78-132 Grzybowo.
2. The mini-chat is used to ask short questions about Lech Forge services without an obligation to provide an e-mail address or telephone number.
3. The mini-chat is not a live chat. A reply may appear later, and Lech Forge does not guarantee a specific response time.
4. Use of the mini-chat is voluntary and free of charge.
2. When to use the mini-chat
The mini-chat is suitable when the user:
- wants to ask a short question about the scope of services,
- wants to make a preliminary check of the possibility of cooperation,
- does not want to provide contact details,
- can return to the conversation using a private link.
The contact form should be used instead of the mini-chat when:
- the user expects a reply by e-mail or telephone,
- the matter requires leaving contact details,
- a more detailed project description and structured enquiry are needed,
- the parties wish to proceed to direct correspondence.
The mini-chat does not allow attachments to be sent. Technical documentation, models, and other files can be arranged only after direct contact has been established through an appropriate channel.
3. Anonymity and contact details
1. Only a nickname and message content are required to start a conversation.
2. E-mail and telephone are not required.
3. The user should not enter an e-mail address, telephone number, or other contact details if they wish to keep the conversation anonymous.
4. The mini-chat was designed specifically so that a question can be asked without the risk of later receiving unwanted commercial contact at a provided telephone number or e-mail address.
5. If the user voluntarily includes their personal data in a message, those data will be stored as part of the conversation and processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
4. Private conversation link
1. After creating a conversation, the user receives a private link containing an access token.
2. The user should save the link in a safe place.
3. The link is the only way to return to the conversation. Without it, recovery of the thread is not possible.
4. Only the token hash is stored in the database, so Lech Forge cannot reconstruct a lost token.
5. Anyone who has the private link can access the conversation. The user should not share the link with third parties or publish it on the internet.
6. If disclosure of the link is suspected, the user should stop using the conversation and — if needed — start a new thread.
5. Writing rules
Recommended:
- asking short, specific questions about Lech Forge services,
- describing the general purpose or problem without disclosing confidential details,
- stating the type of machine, device, part, or industry if this helps understand the question,
- keeping the private link,
- returning to the conversation after some time to check for a reply,
- using the contact form when e-mail or telephone contact is needed.
Not recommended or prohibited:
- providing passwords, access codes, API keys, and login credentials,
- providing payment card data, account numbers, identity documents, or other particularly sensitive information,
- publishing confidential documentation, trade secrets, or third-party data,
- entering contact details solely for the purpose of sending spam or advertising,
- sending spam, automated messages, or repeatedly posting the same content,
- offensive content, threats, harassment, incitement to violence, or unlawful content,
- attempts to bypass security measures, overload the website, obtain other people’s conversations, or disrupt system operation,
- using the mini-chat for purposes unrelated to Lech Forge’s offering,
- expecting acceptance or analysis of attachments — the mini-chat does not support files.
6. Lech Forge replies
1. Lech Forge replies are marked in the conversation as administrator messages and may be accompanied by the brand emblem.
2. A reply in the mini-chat is preliminary and informational. The scope of a project, price, timeline, and the parties’ liability require separate agreement.
3. The mini-chat conversation alone does not constitute entering into a contract or accepting an order.
4. Lech Forge may ask the user to move to the contact form or direct correspondence if further discussion of the matter requires identification of the parties, contact details, or exchange of documents.
7. Moderation and closing a conversation
Lech Forge may, without prior warning:
- refuse to reply,
- close the conversation,
- restrict the ability to send further messages,
- delete or anonymise content,
if the conversation breaches these Terms, involves spam, contains unlawful or offensive content, poses a security risk, or is unrelated to the offering.
Lech Forge may also close a conversation after providing a reply or when further communication should take place through another channel.
8. Retention period
1. A conversation is retained by default for 14 days.
2. The administrator may:
- delete the conversation earlier,
- extend its validity,
- mark it as “Do not delete” if it is needed for further handling of the matter, security protection, fulfilment of a legal obligation, or establishing, pursuing, or defending claims.
3. After expiry, the conversation is deleted or anonymised.
4. Expiry or deletion of a conversation results in loss of access to its content.
9. Security and spam protection
1. The mini-chat uses technical safeguards such as CSRF protection, a honeypot, submission limits, and Cloudflare Turnstile.
2. An IP address hash is stored in the database, not the full IP address.
3. The full IP address may be briefly processed by the server, OVH, or Cloudflare to handle the connection, perform anti-bot verification, and prevent abuse.
4. Attempts to bypass security measures may result in blocked access and retention of technical data needed to investigate the incident.
10. Hosting and notifications
1. The website, conversation database, and business e-mail are operated using OVH services.
2. After a message is received, the system may send a notification to info@lech-forge.pl containing the nickname, message content, and a link to the administrator panel.
3. Cloudflare Turnstile is used solely to protect against bots and abuse, and not for advertising or marketing analytics.
11. Personal data
Detailed information about the data controller, legal bases for processing, recipients, retention, and user rights is set out in:
- the Privacy Policy,
- the GDPR Notice.
Contact for personal data matters: kontakt@lech-forge.pl.
12. Technical requirements
To use the mini-chat, the following are needed:
- a device with internet access,
- a current web browser supporting JavaScript, cookies, localStorage, and sessionStorage,
- the ability to display and complete Cloudflare Turnstile verification.
Disabling essential browser mechanisms, blocking scripts, or inability to complete Turnstile may prevent starting a conversation or sending a message.
13. Complaints about mini-chat operation
A complaint about the technical operation of the mini-chat may be sent to kontakt@lech-forge.pl. The message should include a description of the problem, the approximate time it occurred, and — if available — the nickname used in the conversation. The private conversation token should not be sent in the body of an ordinary e-mail message.
Lech Forge will consider the complaint without undue delay. If clarifying the problem requires additional information, the user may be asked to provide it.
14. Service availability
Lech Forge makes efforts to ensure that the mini-chat operates properly, but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to technical work, outages, updates, or the operation of security measures.
15. Changes to the Terms
The Terms may be changed in the event of modifications to how the mini-chat operates, security measures, retention periods, or applicable law. The current version is published on the website together with the effective date.
